A slight frown, but he sits down. "...what about him?" Is he ever going to be ready?

[snowandfrost]

"I think we may have changed history, somehow. So Savitar may not even be a problem ever again." Given that things continue the way they do.

[vivifier]

"What makes you say that" A slight frown here.

[snowandfrost]

"Because if he is who I think he is, then he would not have gotten to that point of anger and possibly madness. We may have already changed history because Team Flash accepted my powers when I first became Frost instead of shunning me from the group," she begins to explain.

[vivifier]

"Who he is," he repeats. Well, that's a heart sinking feeling, isn't it. Because he thinks he knows. "It's me. Isn't it?"

[snowandfrost]

"No." She says this firmly. "And yes. It could have been any of you, actually. Even Barry. Something must have happened in order for someone to have gone so far into the dark and be driven to that level of anger and fear."

[vivifier]

He huffs out a not entirely happy sigh. "You don't think it's still a possibility?"

[snowandfrost]

"Not with you. I mean, you have a place here with us on STAR Labs. Felicity and I managed to get you an identity and even your own place in Central," she starts rambling.

[vivifier]

"But we don't know what caused that."

[snowandfrost]

"...no, we don't. But whatever it is, it must have been enough to send one of you over the edge enough to become that."

[vivifier]

"Cait, I'm the only one left. It...he could've killed me, but he didn't." That says a lot, he thinks.

[snowandfrost]

"He could have left any of the other ones alive too, BH," she reminds him. "Because you're the one that's left, you have that choice. You could let yourself become him but you could choose not to. You could stay here with us."

[vivifier]

"I don't want to turn into that." To be that awful, crazy or apparently alone. "Do the others know?"

[snowandfrost]

She shakes her head.

"No, I don't think they need to." She didn't want them to know before BH did.

[vivifier]

"What if they find out?"

[snowandfrost]

"You right now is proof enough that you wouldn't. Barry went to Earth-2 where he saw Killer Frost being a villain. I could have become a villain here when my meta powers surfaced but I didn't," she offers.

[vivifier]

"Yeah. Yeah, that's...true."

[snowandfrost]

She reaches and squeezes his hand.

"So really, you saved us from Savitar."

[vivifier]

"I doubt that's how that works."

[snowandfrost]

"It could be. Why couldn't it?"

[vivifier]

"It kind of seems too easy."

[snowandfrost]

"Could be one of those things where we finally catch a break." Caitlin shakes her head. "I can't imagine you becoming him."

[vivifier]

"Do you think he could've?" He wonders. "Imagined it, I mean."

[snowandfrost]

"Maybe. After some point that we can't determine. We can't ask him. We can't talk to him."

[vivifier]

"Not without Julian, no." Or someone else connected to him through that stone.
