"He could have left any of the other ones alive too, BH," she reminds him. "Because you're the one that's left, you have that choice. You could let yourself become him but you could choose not to. You could stay here with us."

"I don't want to turn into that." To be that awful, crazy or apparently alone. "Do the others know?"

[snowandfrost]

She shakes her head.

"No, I don't think they need to." She didn't want them to know before BH did.

[vivifier]

"What if they find out?"

[snowandfrost]

"You right now is proof enough that you wouldn't. Barry went to Earth-2 where he saw Killer Frost being a villain. I could have become a villain here when my meta powers surfaced but I didn't," she offers.

[vivifier]

"Yeah. Yeah, that's...true."

[snowandfrost]

She reaches and squeezes his hand.

"So really, you saved us from Savitar."

[vivifier]

"I doubt that's how that works."

[snowandfrost]

"It could be. Why couldn't it?"

[vivifier]

"It kind of seems too easy."

[snowandfrost]

"Could be one of those things where we finally catch a break." Caitlin shakes her head. "I can't imagine you becoming him."

[vivifier]

"Do you think he could've?" He wonders. "Imagined it, I mean."

[snowandfrost]

"Maybe. After some point that we can't determine. We can't ask him. We can't talk to him."

[vivifier]

"Not without Julian, no." Or someone else connected to him through that stone.

[snowandfrost]

"He might not even be connected to Julian anymore. Without any of the remnants going to where Savitar went, it might mean that we would not hear of any of this."

[vivifier]

"But it happened. So...it has to still happen, doesn't it?" Agh. Time travel.

[snowandfrost]

She shakes her head.

"It doesn't still need to happen. With the new timeline, different choices being available, you might be able to change the future so that it doesn't happen."

[vivifier]

"How do I do that?" Especially if they don't know what happened in the original timeline.

[snowandfrost]

She thinks on it.

"Savitar has a very strong hatred toward Team Flash and he had a reason for wanting to kill Iris so much. So it must have something to do with Barry. I can't imagine anyone being mad at Iris enough to want to go that far."

Barry, on the other hand...

"So, what? Just don't ever get mad at Barry?" That seems easier said than done.

[snowandfrost]

"No that's...he does things that would test anyone's patience. I guess that would mean just don't let your anger get the better of you?" she suggests. Caitlin gives a roll of her shoulders.

[vivifier]

"How do I do that?" Pausing. "Or...not do that, I guess."

[snowandfrost]

"When you get mad at Barry, what do you feel like doing?"

[vivifier]

"I mean...I don't know. It's not like I'm suddenly filled with an overwhelming urge to kill him."

[snowandfrost]

"Well then, that means you must be doing something right. Continue doing what you're doing." Caitlin wants to try to be reassuring. Instead, she stands up and begins to gather all of the files to sort away before she leaves for the night. "I have faith we won't be seeing him again."
