She smiles and sends the message to Felicity to set things up for one B. Henry Allen. Caitlin sets her tablet aside and gets up to check his monitors again.
"You're always going to be you, B," she says. "Once you're up and running again, so to speak, we can start settling things like maybe a job, a place to stay, things like that."
He nods, flashing her a bit of a smile. "Sounds like it's a plan then. What about..." Gesturing around. "This?" Not the building, he doesn't mean that. "Obviously being the Flash himself is out."
"It's up to you." Though if he is truly like Barry, he would want to help. "We could use another speedster. That way, Barry and Wally wouldn't be overwhelmed. Nor would you be saddled with full time superhero duties."
"Nope, no whooshing until your spine is healed up. Icing you to keep you
from moving is still a very real threat," she warns. Though there's a
little crook upwards at the corner of her lips.
And this is a moment, she's glad that she wasn't settled down with
something ridiculous like power dampening bracelets when her meta abilities
emerged. Caitlin gets up to get the salve for his face. This time, she sits
on the gurney with him and gently applies it to the burn.
If he wasn't sure it would go over poorly and probably cause more pain, he'd scoot to make room for her. As it is, he stays fairly still. "It feels all right." A little stinging, but nothing like yesterday.
"It looks like the scarring would take...much longer than usual to heal but
if we could get most of it healed up to the point where you wouldn't feel
pain, I think you would be able to live with it." She pulls back a little
to examine her handiwork. "You will still be able to break a few hearts
with that face of yours."
It's both funny and not funny, considering the entire Iris of the situation. He does give a small but brief smile, at least. "At least you'll be able to tell us apart. No Parent Trap situations."
Caitlin puts the salve away and yawns. Grand total of maybe four hours of
sleep for the doctor. Maybe. She doesn't want to leave B alone now. No one
should ever be alone in STAR Labs. Maybe she could nap on a couch in the
break room.
She leaves her tablet on the table next to his bed.
"There's a quick call button on here for me," she instructs as she gets up
off the bed. "I'll have one too and I won't be far. Probably a bunk in one
of the spare offices nearby."

“But do you like it? This is your chance to pick out a name you’d like,” she replies. Her finger hovered over the send button.

"Good."

"Let me know if this hurts."

She laughs a little.
"Very true."

She walks over and lowers the lights a little so that he would be able to sleep. Caitlin gives him a tired smile.
"Goodnight, B."
She grabs a tablet that's charging on her desk and walks off to one of the nearby offices with a cot. Eh, she's slept in worse.
