Character Name: Savitar
Age: 28, not including time trapped in the Speed Force
Series: The Flash
canon point: After getting knocked out of his armor by The Flash in the last episode of season 3.
brief history: Wiki Link.

Personality:

Savitar is Barry Allen. He will not respond to the name Barry Allen, unless by 'respond to the name' you mean 'flip out like he's playing an overly aggressive game of Table Flip He has Barry's ethics and his morals, but he consciously ignores them to push pass the emotional and no doubt physical pain he feels in order to 'become a god'.

Savitar is a version of Barry Allen that has no love left in his life. At this point, he actively tries to push any possibility of love, friendship or even just companionship out of his life. There are very few exceptions, and I'll go into that later.

But as for the love he had, according to Savitar, he was shunned by his family and friends because he was 'disposable'. A spare Barry that had failed at what he'd been created to do. A broken man, completely alone in the world.

And let's be real here. He is absolutely a broken man. He talks about the things he lost as if they were outright stolen from him on purpose as opposed to having been lost because of the simple fact he was a time remnant. He talks about how he was shunned by Team Flash, but he doesn't consider the idea that perhaps they all just abandoned each other and no one even realized he was still alive.

He can be ruthless and cruel, but to his followers he is neither of these things. He seems to gravitate towards followers who are as broken and alone as himself, and gives them what it seems like they need. Powers and the ability to use them to take what they want and what they need. He also seems to collect people that are basically useless to him, such as the teenage Frankie Kane who one could see being as Barry would have been if not for Joe West. An orphan in foster care with deep anger issues.

He's angry, always angry. Always lashing out at people he thinks either have or will wrong him. It's likely that this is some way to try to control his life or even to control the world. To get ahead of the pain, but all it really does is cause more of it. And pain is what makes him want to be a God in the first place.

About that. He's delusional to the point where he believes he can become a God if enough people believe that he is a God. He believes that's literally all you need to become a God, that and sloughing off all trappings. Enough to believe that killing Iris is a step towards that and also ensuring his existence. He also seems to be quite self-loathing, as the way he talks about being a God is more akin to someone talking about being a monster. It's telling that his worst enemy in all of this is The Flash, a man who is quite literally himself.

Despite his cruelty, he does have some amount of empathy. It's implied that the cruelty is partly to lash out at Team Flash, to punish them for what the future versions of themselves quote-unquote did to him. He feels empathy for Iris, for causing her fear and pain in regards to him possibly killing her. But not enough to change his mind.

And yet, when his original plan fails he falters. When people reach out, he nearly listens. Suggesting that deep down, he would welcome a chance to be back with them. To have family. Friends. But when they fail at providing any help in a way he can understand, he gives up. He enacts a plan that has barely any chance of success, something that seems to feed into his literal self-loathing.

Powers and Abilities:

The various powers and abilities that come with a connection to the Speed Force, like superhuman agility, speed, healing and body vibration in addition to superhuman momentum and energy absorption.

Weaknesses include a reliance on his armor, which keeps him shielded from the excessive charges his top velocities build up. So essentially, one of his weaknesses is his own ability. His armor will not be coming with him. He's vulnerable to cold and seems to have a weakened healing ability.
